Regrettably, no children below the age of 10 years are permitted at Lion Sands River Lodge. Children between the ages of 10 and 15 will be charged 50% of the adult sharing rate (given that they sleep in the same room as the parents. Children of 16 and older pay the full adult rate when in their own room.

Thatched Luxury Suites

20 thatched rooms overlook the unfenced African bush, or the Sabie River. Choose between Luxury Rooms, Superior Luxury Suites, and River Suites for an unforgettable stay. Guests at Lion Sands are invited to spend a night under the stars in one of the luxury Lion Sands Treehouses. Head into another world after sunset, and forge your own connection with an Africa as old as time.

Luxury Rooms

12 Luxury Rooms offer en-suite bathrooms, lounge area with mini bar, and private wooden deck from which to appreciate the wilds beyond.

Superior Luxury Suites

The six superior luxury suites are larger in size, with ample open-plan bathrooms and outdoor showers. Four of the six suites are interleading, and therefore ideal for families.

River Suites

Two secluded River Suites are located further from the public areas and are therefore more private. These suites have incredible river views, best appreciated from the expansive decks. River Suites also feature outdoor showers, and a bath to get lost in.
